Summer is one of my favorite times of year. July brings longer days, family gatherings, and opportunities to spend time with the people who matter most. It also reminds us how important it is to protect what we've worked so hard to build and the loved ones who depend on us.

For me, family has always been at the center of everything I do. This year, my wife and I are celebrating 52 wonderful years of marriage. What started with a trip from California to visit family in El Paso, Texas, turned into a lifelong love story. Together, we've raised two amazing children, Michael and Jennifer, and are proud grandparents to our grandson, Grayson, who keeps us busy with his passion for hockey and his positive spirit.

West Covina has always been home to me. I grew up here, attended Del Norte School, and graduated from Edgewood High School. It's especially meaningful that my State Farm office is located in the very area I used to walk past on my way to school. I never imagined that years later I would have the opportunity to serve my community from that same location.

Giving back is something I deeply value. I'm proud to be involved with the Edgewood High Alumni Association, helping support student scholarships and community fundraising efforts. I also enjoy supporting local youth through my sponsorship of Charter Oak Athletics.
